Shoot a short movie and
enter it into the ComedyCity

Us crazy ComedyCity folks love making movies too - and we know some of you do as well.  So, we're hosting our first movie challenge for our fans to create their own short Halloween themed movie.

They can be scary or funny, live-action or animated, whatever you want.  Basically, as long as it somehow has somethin
g to do with Halloween and it's under 5 minutes, it qualifies.

Submissions are due to ComedyCity by Midnight on October 24th, and the top submissions will receive some fun prizes and be shown on Halloween night at ComedyCity following the late show (about 11:30pm).

See "Night of the Living Dead"
Like you've never seen it before

To help get you into that Halloween mood, we're hosting a late night showing of the cult horror classic "Night of the Living Dead" on Saturday, October 17.  And, for extra added awesome-ness, a couple of the funny ComedyCity folks will be providing commentary throughout the movie, a la Mystery Science Theatre 3000 - only live!

So stay late after the 9:30 show, or stop in about 11:15 or so to catch this horror movie classic.  Admission is just $2.  No reservations necessary.

Free Late Night Fun @ ComedyCity
Saturdays After Shows

Throughout the month of October we've got a bunch of fun stuff lined up post-show for your entertainment pleasure.  Every Saturday night features something fun and exciting.

The "Late Night Movie Show" includes about a 1/2 hour of short videos shot by the creative folks here at ComedyCity and starring us as well.  They're hilarious!

"Late Night Prime Time" is our long form improv show.  Rather than short bursts of improv comedy, this show features longer scenes and character development.

Shows start about 11:30pm - after the late ComedyCity show wraps up.  Conent is rated PG-13, but it's late so the little kids shouldn't be up anyway.

Here's the Late Night Lineup:
October 3rd: Late Night Movie Show (free)
October 10th: Late Night Prime Time (free)
October 17th: Night of the Living Dead Live! ($2)
October 24th: Late Night Primte Time (free)
October 31st: Movie Contest Show (free)

ComedyCity is Your Home
For Pat McCurdy - Wed. Oct. 7 @ 8pm

So just who is this Pat McCurdy fellow?  He's a singer/songwriter from Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  His shows usually consist of just him and his guitar and include improvised interaction with the audience.  Performing well over 300 shows a year, his large catalog of original songs (over 600 and growing) covers a variety of topics such as lost loves, politics, family vacations, hair styles, entertainment and French Generals.  His shows straddle the line between music and comedy... to the enjoyment of thousands.

For more info on the legend that is Pat McCurdy, check out Pat's website, or just blindly trust us - we know funny.

Wednesday, October 7 at 8pm

Now, unlike the usual ComedyCity shows, this isn't for the kids. Pat's shows are rated a strong PG13 for some language.

No reservations necessary.
