ComedyCity is Your Home
For Pat McCurdy - Wed. Sept. 16 @ 8pm
So
just who is this Pat McCurdy fellow? He's a singer/songwriter from
Milwaukee, Wisconsin. His shows usually consist of just him and his
guitar and include improvised interaction with the audience.
Performing well over 300 shows a year, his large catalog of original
songs (over 600 and growing) covers a variety of topics such as lost
loves, politics, family vacations, hair styles, entertainment and
French Generals. His shows straddle the line between music and
comedy... to the enjoyment of thousands.
For more info on the legend that is Pat McCurdy, check out Pat's website, or just blindly trust us - we know funny. Wednesdays, September 16 & October 7 at 8pm Now, unlike the usual ComedyCity shows, this isn't for the kids. Pat's shows are rated a strong PG13 for some language.
No reservations necessary. |

Check out "Late Night Prime Time"
This Saturday Night
If you're coming to the late ComedyCity show this Saturday, September 5th, you should make plans to stick around for the "Late Night Prime Time" long form improv show right after. Rather than the short 3-6 minute sketches you see in a regular ComedyCity show, performers will be putting together one or just a couple longer scenes and developing characters and plot much more. Still completely made up on the spot and still hilariously funny. And best of all, there's no charge, so you really have no excuse not to stick around. And hey, even if you're not coming to the late show - you can still stop in for the long form improv show. We're cool with that. Late Night Prime Time
Saturday 9/5/09 after the late show (about 11:30pm - show runs approx. 30 min) Free! |

Thank You for Your Generosity!
A huge thank you to all who donated at shows this past month. With the help of our awesome audience members, we were able to raise over $250 in August for the USO. That money will be donated to the organization to be used for calling cards and entertainment packages to be sent to troops serving overseas.
