So You Think You're Funny?
ComedyCity Auditions Sunday, April 19th
 Are
you looking to get on stage with the ComedyCity gang? Simply looking
to expand your life experiences? Whatever the case, we're holding open
auditions for the ComedyCity improv troupe this Sunday, April 19th at 7pm.
Auditioners 18 and older should dress comfortably and be prepared to let loose and improvise scenes. No experience is necessary. |

Venture Theatre's production of "PDA"
Gets 3.5 stars, runs through April 25th  Press-Gazette
theatre critic Warren Gerds gave "PDA" 3.5 stars, calling the show
"clever" and saying "there's nothing else quite like it on the planet." Read the complete review.
This final production of the 2008/09 season runs Fridays & Saturdays at 8pm, through April 25th.
In PDA,
an original science-fiction comedy, the line between man and machine is blurred. A young inventor creates a revolutionary new
artificial intelligence that slowly learns not just to think, but to
feel. What does it take for a computer to join the human race?

Funny For The Week:
A group of researchers concluded that the following is, apparently, the funniest joke ever told:
Two hunters are out in the woods when one of them collapses. He doesn't seem to be breathing and his eyes are glazed. The other guy takes out his phone and calls the emergency services. He gasps: "My friend is dead! What can I do?" The operator says: "Calm down, I can help. First, let's make sure he's dead." There is a silence, then a gunshot is heard. Back on the phone, the guy says: "OK, now what?" |
