for the 28-Hour Marathon of Comedy


 
It's time for some serious comedy... the 28 Hour Marathon of Comedy to benefit two local children's cancer charities.
 
That's right... We start at the 7:30pm show on Friday, March 27 and have nonstop performances until the end of the 9:30 show on Saturday, March 28.  So mark the date on your calendar.  More info will be coming about the show schedule.
 
We also need your help.  We're looking for area businesses and individuals to be sponsors of the event.  Anything from raffle prize sponsors to the Title Sponsor of the event (i.e. The ComedyCity 28-Hour Marathon of Comedy brought to you by [Your Business]).
 
Please take a moment to download the PDF file detailing the event and opportunities we have to offer.  Please feel free to share this info with any other businesses you think might be interested in being part of this great event.  And hey, we're improvisors... if you have a different idea of how you'd like to be invovled, we'd love to hear it.
 
 
Auditions for the Upcoming Venture Theatre
Production of "PDA" - Sunday, March 8th


 
Venture Theatre will be holding auditions for the fourth and final production of the 2008/09 season, "PDA," on Sunday, March 8th at 7 pm.  If actors are unable to attend the scheduled audition, they can arrange a time by contacting Mike Eserkaln.
 
Venture is seeking several adult males and females for roles in the show.  Actors do not need to prepare anything.
 
Actors need to be available for evening rehearsals Sunday through Thursday beginning
shortly after auditions.  The show runs Fridays & Saturdays at 8pm from April 3rd - 25th. 
 
Auditions are held at the ComedyCity / Venture Theatre complex at 380 Main Avenue in
