The funny folks at ComedyCity will once again be sharing the gift of improv with kids ages 7-17 coming up in August.  Over the course of four days, campers will learn the art and skills of improvisation - things like teamwork, communication, stage presence and confidence.  The week culminates with the campers putting on a show for family and friends.

Sunday & Monday - August 10 & 11 @ 7pm

Venture Theatre will be holding auditions for the first production of the
2008/09 season, "The Liar," on Sunday & Monday, August 10th & 11th at 7:00pm.  If
actors are unable to attend the scheduled audition, they can arrange a time by contacting the director.

Venture is seeking adult males and females ages 20-50 for various roles.

Actors need to be available for evening rehearsals Sunday through Thursday beginning
shortly after auditions.  The show runs Fridays & Saturdays from September 12th -
October 4th at 8pm.

"The Liar" is an original play written and directed  by Mike Eserkaln.  Auditions are held at the ComedyCity / Venture Theatre complex at 380 Main Avenue in downtown De Pere.

Sunday - September 21 @ 7pm

It's more than just "being funny."  There's communication, teamwork, and a host of other skills that go into doing what we do.

C'mon out and give it a try on Sunday, September 21st at 7pm.  We'll teach you some of the skills, excercises and games during the audition.  Men and women age 18 and older are invited.  Wear comfortable clothes and be ready for anything.
