ComedyCity Theatre is once again offering summer improv camps for both kids and teens.  This year we are offering a session in late June and another in early August.  The cost is $75 per student.   It is a chance for your children to hone the skills of improv comedy, including teamwork, listening, and creativity.  Let's learn more about both camps... 

COMEDYCITY’S TEEN IMPROV CAMP:

For teens aged 13 to 17, our Teen Camp offers a dynamic and engaging experience in the art of improvisation. Running from June 24th to 28th for Session A and August 5th to 9th for Session B, each day from 12 PM to 2 PM, this camp provides a perfect opportunity for teenagers to hone their improvisational skills while having a blast.

Led by instructors who are experienced improvisors, participants will delve into the fundamentals of improvisation, learning valuable lessons in teamwork, communication, and creativity. Through a series of interactive activities, games, and collaborative exercises, teens will not only enhance their improvisational abilities but also build confidence and social skills in a supportive environment.

The highlight of the camp? A culminating performance where campers showcase their newfound talents alongside ComedyCity’s seasoned performers. COMEDYCITY’S KIDS IMPROV CAMP:

Designed for children aged 8 to 12, our Kids Camp offers a similar immersive experience in improvisation, tailored to younger participants. Spots are still available for the session taking place June 24th to 28th, from 9 AM to 11 AM daily.

Just like the Teen Camp, Kids Camp attendees will embark on a journey of discovery through improv games, lessons, and collaborative activities. Under the guidance of our skilled instructors, children will develop essential life skills such as confidence, creativity, and teamwork in a supportive and inclusive environment.

The week concludes with a special showcase where children get to demonstrate their newfound talents to friends and family, leaving them with memories to cherish and skills to last a lifetime.  Register your child.
