Tipsy History Returns this Friday at ComedyCity!

Tipsy History is back by popular demand! What is Tipsy History? It's a show where ComedyCity's comedians tell and perform tales of Wisconsin's past. The catch is that some of the performers will have consumed a few beers or drinks by the time the show starts! The tales told could be anything from the origin of the Rhinelander Hodag to the story of Sputnik's crashing in Manitowoc.

Don't come for the historical accuracy. Come for the laughter.

Cardboard Theatre is gearing up to bring more original plays to the stage. To get things started, Cardboard Theatre is organizing three play readings.

The plays have been cast, the performers have the scripts, all they need is the audience! You can attend these readings for free!

The upcoming reading will feature a story by playwright Jim Reilly, "Deadly Games at the Hotel Excelsior." Here's a plot synopsis:

WWII has just ended and our cast of characters have gathered at the Hotel Excelsior. Secrets and mystery abound and no one is playing by the rules... Who will survive? and who will meet an untimely end.
